The little girl explained in her innocent way about God's love "...People can only love outside and can only kiss outside, but Mister God can love you right inside, and Mister God can kiss you right inside..."
This is the essence of life; that God loves us, He loves you. "For I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have drawn you with loving -kindness" -Jer 31:3
No matter what you do or have done, He still loves you right from the inside.
I get asked a lot why do you homeschool? I prefer to call it home educate, but more on this later.
It has all got to do with my purpose on earth.
What is our purpose? It is to bring Glory to God, and have relationship with Him; intimacy with God your maker. Gods says:" you whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made."-Is43:7
It all starts with God-"For all things were created by Him and for Him "- Col 1:16
He wants relationship with you, and He used Jesus to bring you close to Him. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."-John3:16 Jesus opened the way for us to come into Gods presence.
I want to bring my kids into a relationship with Jesus and intimacy with God. All the rest is temporal and can be acquired through books etc, but character and fruit of the spirit need to be modeled daily. I want to teach them daily to be in the Lord and grow up in faith.
I believe that God's intention was for parents to teach their children, and especially in the way of the Lord.
